Satan knows, that in order to win the world, he must confuse
our understanding of the word of God. Therefore, he implements seemingly harmless
theories that will captivate the world and at the same time spills over and
destroy the church. So what did he do? He came up with the theory of evolution.
Friends, before you go any further, stop and ask God to allow you to understand what He
would have you to know from this study.
Dear reader, do you believe in the theory of evolution or creation? Think about it,
because at the end of this study you might have to admit that you are an evolutionist in
order for you to move forward in your Christian experience.
What is the theory of evolution?
Evolutionist believes that nature is our parent and the source of life. They believe that the process of life began countless ages ago. However, the process is not steady, the
growth is not gradual. There have been many times of great beauty, but then there was a great destruction, a big
eruption that destroys everything, but life continue and the process restart. Many ups and
downs are experienced in this process. That is why evolutionists are not concerned about global warning, holes
in the "0" zone layer and so on. They believe that this world is not going to last, but because life will continue we will evolve
into something bigger and better. Thus progress points to an increased value in existence, and that which causes the thing to get better is itself. This increased value is judged by feelings.
I know I get better because I feel better. So man, in a nutshell, gets more sophisticated as he
evolves.
What is creation?
Genesis
1:1 says, "In the beginning God
created the heavens and the earth." Creation is
simple and easy to explain. God created the heavens and the
earth. He speaks and it is.
Immediate action. He spoke the world into existence.
Hebrews
11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word
of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Creation was all in the power of the word. God spoke and the
world appeared. The most important fact for us to understand, is
that, creation is immediate. The world did not evolve into
existence after millions of years. Let us examine creation. When God said let there be light, how much time passed before the light
appeared? It was immediate, right? It did not happen like the faders we have in our
homes, where it starts from dim to bright. No!!! The man who allows any time to pass between
the spoken word of God and its fulfillment is an evolutionist. God speaks
and it is. Immediate. Try to follow, the punch line is coming. Consider
the leper...
Matthew 8:2-3
And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord,
if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched
him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
What word did the Bible use to explain the execution of the word of
Christ? It was immediate, right? The Bible said that immediately his leprosy was cleaned.
Where Christ is concerned, there is no evolution. Keep reading we are
getting there...
Matthew
8:5-13 - This is the story about the
centurion who came to Jesus on behalf of his servant. He asked Jesus to just
speak the
word only and his servant would be healed. This man understood
the power of a spoken word, for he was a man of great authority.
When he said go, is servants went. When he said stay, they
stayed. So he asked Christ, with the understanding of who he is,
to speak the word only. The servant was healed immediately after
the spoken word. How do we know that? When the centurion
went home, he found his servant healed. And he asked, "what
time was he healed?" And the time they mentioned was the
same time he remembered Jesus speaking words of healing on the behalf
of his servant. No
evolution was involved.
Consider the Problem - Righteousness by Faith
Consider the picture below - it will be explained.
Hypothetically speaking, lets say, Tim realized through the moving of the Holy Spirit that
salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. At a crusade, he got
baptized. At
baptism (point A), base upon what he was thought in error, he believes it is
now time to act. I must work out my own salvation with fear and trembling - Philippians
2:12
From what he was thought, baptism did not really do it, the sacrifice of Christ was not enough, I am not
truly holy nor righteous at baptism. He believes that baptisms
begins the process, and now, he needs to "work" towards holiness.
I need to do something. Christ did His part, now I must do my
part and complete the process. I am justified at baptism, but
now I have to move towards sanctification/holiness, so that I might be
glorified. So, Tim use to smoke before, and now he is fighting with that cigar, saying, "Lord you know that I do not want to smoke,
help me," until the urge go away and he stops smoking. Tim accredits
the victory as making progress. He use to smoke and now he does not smoke
anymore. He's feeling a lot better about himself at this point. Based
upon what he was thought, now he is on his way, moving towards holiness. Holiness/Sanctification is his focus.
He looks ahead and he sees, drinking, lying and devotion still in the way. He start
wrestling with the bottle and lying lips until he gains the victory over them. He even
got to the point where he was having family devotions. Then something happens.
He suffers a spiritual blow and he backslides. He thought he had actually gotten over
smoking for it was all the way back at point "A." And he was really doing
good. He was having morning devotions, he was memorizing scripture text,
till
something went wrong and he backslides. He is guilty, he feels
ashamed, he does not even want to pray. Lord how many times must
I come to you with this sin, please forgive me, he says, has he
finally found the courage to face God. Dear reader, we all know
the story very well. So he falls all the way back to point
"A"
starting over, moving towards holiness. Dear reader, take a look
at your life, and you might personally know the experience of others,
understanding what was just written, are you an evolutionist? Are you evolving into
Christianity?
The
Solution - Righteousness by Faith
The
problem is that we make mental checklist of our sins, working on one at a time trying to
get over them, working out our own salvation, evolving into Christianity. Remember
the story of the man possessed with demons in Mark
5:1-13. When the man met Jesus,
the unclean spirits cried out. Then Jesus asked, "what is thy name?" and
the unclean spirit said, "Legion for we are many."
Notice, the Bible said, "for we are many." A lot of
demons was in this man. Did Jesus say, the
demon of smoking come out of him, then the demon of drinking, then the demon of lying come
out of him, removing them one at a time. No!!! Christ said, "Come out of the
man," and all the demons came out at once, and the man was restored. That is
creation, friends. Immediate action. But what makes it
immediate? The power of Jesus Christ. The man had nothing
to do with it. The man did not go to Christ. He was
completely controlled by the demons. No,
Christ met the man with the demons. The man had nothing to do
with it.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
"Not of ourselves, not of works, lest any man should
boast." Friends, we would have you understand that we
cannot, and will never by our own doing in good faith, working towards
righteousness, attain it. We only have two choices. One,
we can accept Christ and remain in him to keep that righteous status,
or we can walk away from Christ and try to live on our own. Let
us explain.
The power is in
the word. Jesus can speak healing into your life. There is never any
evolution involve. When you accept Christ, a power takes control of your heart and
mind that we can never accomplish for our self. Our business thereafter is to stay
in Christ. Consider what the bible says:
Ezekiel 36:26-27
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
We are made brand new. This is what happens when we accept
Christ and is baptized. The old man, the old nature, the old
heart, the old mind is crucified. We are a new creature. That's why the scripture said, "marvel not that I say,
you must be born again." A new spirit and a new heart is given. God
says, "I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes and to do
them." Friends, he is doing it. We cannot. The only thing we need
to do, is surrender. Allow him to live out his perfect life in us. We do not
have to experience a roller-coaster relationship with him. Only
thing we need to do is stay in Christ. Allow him to lead.
Surrender your will to God. Ask at all times, "What would
you have me to do Lord?" All the demonic chains that bounds
you are broken. You do not have to drink, smoke, fornicate or
steal anymore. You can if you choose to. The victory is
immediate. The problem is that, we do not want to be with
Christ. Every man must come to the place where he is honest with
himself and accept the fact that, we do not really want to be with
Christ. Actions speak louder than words. **** circle walking out
**
Some of us are
evolutionist where our Christian experience is concerned. We might not believe in Darwin,
but we do not believe in immediate action. We believe that God starts the process by
forgiving us of our sins, but holiness is not immediate. We now need to work out our
own salvation with fear and trembling. The problem is that, evolutionist does not
believe in immediate actions, therefore, he cannot accept creation.
Evolutionist cannot fathom, they do not understand and cannot accept that this vast world
was created in six days and on the seventh day God rested. It is not possible to
them. Likewise, some Christians believe that holiness/sanctification
is not immediate after
baptism. Some cannot understand how am I pronounce, just, righteous and blessed
immediately after baptism. That does not mean that we cannot sin. We can
always walk away from him and commit sin. But everything is given that we might walk
never to sin again, if we remain in Christ. Our business, as Jesus said to the woman who was
caught in adultery, is to go and sin no more. John
8:11
The Path of the Just
Some may say, "but I thought the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth
more and more unto the perfect day - Proverbs
4:18. What about the growing process. There
are still a lot of things that I do not know. Does God gives me all knowledge and wisdom at
baptism?" Good questions!!! No, he does not. Christ
came as a baby. Luke 2:40 said, "And the child grew, and waxed strong in
spirit, filled with wisdom:," speaking about baby Jesus.
The growth was not only physical, it was spiritual as well. He
grew in spirit and wisdom. The growth is not towards
holiness/sanctification, towards Christianity. No, we are
already holy and just at baptism. We are now looking to God,
learning from Him, waxing strong in spirit and wisdom, the same way
Christ did. When the word was made flesh, Christ put on
humanity. He had all the attributes of man. There was no
unfair advantage. He was not conceived into wisdom and spiritual
strength. He could have fallen, but he choose to stay in his
father, as we can choose to stay in Christ. At every point he
was Just. Growth in the Christian experience does not mean a
roller coaster relationship. No, that is evolution. He
that is in Christ, stay in Christ.
Consider a mango. When it is a bud, is it a mango or a pear? It's a mango,
right? Does it become an orange in the process towards maturity for the
harvest? No, it remains a mango until the harvest. Remember the light does not
get dark then bright. The light keep getting brighter
and brighter. There is a progressive growth. Darkness is
sin, the light is the life of Christ. It is important to
understand that the light does not get dim, there is no
darkness. Therefore, we should not fall in
and out of sin. Sin is darkness. The bible says in: Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
We were in sin, but now that we are bought back by the ransom blood of Jesus Christ, we
should walk as children of light. Therefore, if we study his words everyday, look to Jesus on a consistent basic,
allow him to lead us, surrender our will to Him, then we will maintain that JUST status shining brighter and brighter
unto the perfect day.
There is no evolution friends. 2
Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a
new creature. Old things are passed away; behold all things become new." We are made brand
new at baptism.
The deadly deception
Remember this, whoever is evolving is filthy. The sad reality is that the
individuals who are evolving will never make it because they are operating out of
self. Self-righteousness is filthiness unto God. The problem is, we really do not
understand it. We believe we can do something. But friends, self and Christ
cannot co-exist. We need to surrender saying, "Lord, I can do
nothing, please live out they life within me." Therefore,
when a temptation comes, instead of trying to stand, we should cry out for Jesus and ask,
"what
would you have me to do Lord, to honor you?." At that
point, Jesus takes over, for we surrendered our will to Him. It
is all about surrendering. We are not match for devil. We
are trying to fight a spiritual war with carnal weapons. Paul
realized that self and Christ cannot co-exist. So he
started operating under the mode of, I am crucified with Christ. He said,
nevertheless I live, but it is not me who is living, it is Christ who lives within me, and
the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the son of God - Galatians
2:20-21.
Remember friends, if you remain in Christ you cannot sin.
1
John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
This situation will exist if we choose to stay in Christ.
Submitting ourselves, our will to Him on a daily basis. Through
the rebirth process of going under the watery grave of baptism, we
become a child of God, a seed of Christ. If the seed remains,
the Bible says. If we remain with daddy Jesus, then we will be
ok.
Ephesians 2:13-16
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Notice is verse 13, the Bible says, "By the blood of
Christ," He abolished (in verse 15) in "His" flesh the
enmity (that war between good and evil within our flesh), even the
law, for to make in "Himself" of twain one new man, so
making peace. Enmity in the flesh (human nature), the character
of God, the law (spirit or divine) came together in Christ, making a
new man in Jesus Christ, so making peace. Dear reader, have you
heard about that great marriage, where divinity will meet
humanity? Who's divinity? Christ, right?
Correct!!! Who's humanity? Ours, right? No,
wrong. It is the humanity of Christ. Christ was 100% man
and 100% God. Divinity and humanity was met in Christ. It
is not our humanity meeting His divinity, no my friends, it is all
about Christ. Enmity was abolished through the life of
Christ. That propensity towards sin, that sin nature.
Christ did it for us. He lived that righteous life. He
bore the pain of the cross so that we do not have to walk that
path. We are not living a consistent life in Christ, because we
thought it was our humanity. So, we are trying to join our
humanity with His divinity for victory, but that is impossible.
Self and Christ cannot co-exist. Our humanity is retched,
corrupted and sinful. Self will never get better in this
world. None is good, but God. We are trying to make self
righteous, which is impossible. This mortal shall put on
immortality, this corruption shall put on incorruption, only at the
last trump, in a twinkling of an eye. That is why we look to
Christ our righteousness. It is his sin free life we must
accept. It is his humanity. We should allow him to live
out his life through us by prayer and fasting. It is his divine
nature friends.
2 Peter 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
We must be partakers of his divine nature so that we might escape the
corruption of this world. This is the message of victory now,
friends. Righteous by faith. Believing and accepting His
life. If you accept and is baptized into his divine nature, his
sinless humanity, the propensity towards sin being removed, and if we
stay in Him, can we sin? Judge within yourself. I ask you
to re-read this study if you do not understand. For this is the
only way we will be prepared to meet a holy God in peace when He
returns.
We can
always walk out of the protective environment of Jesus Christ and go with the devil.
At that point the light stops growing brighter and brighter, it becomes dark - we
committed a sin. Yes, there is an advocate who is willing to forgive us our sins, but God does
not want us to have a high school relationship, where we brake up to make up. No friends,
we can have a consistent, victorious life in Jesus Christ. Paul says in Galatians
2:21, "I do not frustrate the grace of God." Consider
the picture below...
Some believe that after accepting Jesus Christ at baptism, and starts the journey towards
holiness, if death is introduced in their life towards holiness, Christ steps in and make
up the difference. They still have sins, they did not quite make it, but because
they were heading in the direction of holiness, Christ makes up the
difference and they are saved. However, if they were
heading in the opposite direction, they are lost.
Do you really believe that is what it is all about, friends? Do
you believe, the even though we still have sins,
Christ our righteousness will step in and make up the difference for us. No
friends, not so. Jesus can do nothing for a dead man. The dead
knows nothing. He
cannot make choices. He cannot ask for forgiveness in the
grave. Unconfessed sins, are unforgiven sins. So, then, if
the Bible says, "no sin will enter new Jerusalem," how will
we enter if we have unconfessed sins?. The Bible said, "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection
- Revelation 20:6. It is not by chance
that they are considered blessed and
holy. They died holy. They died in Christ. When Christ pronounces...
Revelation
22:11
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
Everyone evolving at that point will be unjust and filthy.
Live out thy life within me
Romans
6:3-11
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Evolution is rooted in self-righteousness. We are just at baptism. We only
need to surrender and submit ourselves to God, moment by moment, so that our light can
shine brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. Allow Jesus to live out his sin free
life within you. Do we believe the word and promises of
God. Consider this promise...
Jude
1:24
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and for ever. Amen.
